How and when you pay.
No surprises. The refundable security bond is separate from the quoted hire price and selected extras.

Within 24 hours of an accepted quote
Pay 25% of your quoted hire plus any selected extras. This initial booking payment is capped at $1,000 — whatever 25% comes to, you never pay more than that up front. If you cancel, it is handled under our cancellation policy.

4 weeks before your hire
Complete the $1,000 refundable security bond. Every booking carries the same bond, whatever its length, price or season — it is never discounted and is held separately from your rental total.

Before you collect the van
Pay the hire-fee balance. The exact timing and amount are confirmed in your final hire agreement. To confirm

After your hire
The $1,000 security bond is released within 5 business days of the van being returned and inspected, less any lawful or agreed deductions — unpaid tolls, fines, damage, fuel, cleaning, or other charges applicable under the hire agreement.
Minimum hire
Our standard minimum is 3 rental days, counting your pick-up day and your return day. Looking for something shorter? Get in touch — depending on availability we may be able to make it work.
Driving allowance
Included with every booking. A 3-day booking includes 600 km, a 5-day booking 1,000 km, a 10-day booking 2,000 km. Beyond your allowance, additional kilometres are $0.30 each.
Security bond
Required on every booking and charged separately from your rental price. Released within 5 business days of return, less any applicable agreed deductions.
Cleaning
Please return the van in the same clean and tidy condition in which you received it. If additional cleaning is required, a $200 exterior cleaning fee and/or $100 interior cleaning fee may apply, and may be deducted from the security bond.
Insurance requirement
Every hire needs an Insurance Disclosure Declaration
Our insurer requires a short declaration and a copy of each driver's licence before a booking can be confirmed. You can complete it now or after you book.
Long stays
From $250 AUD / rental day
The longer you book, the less each rental day costs. Discounts apply automatically to the rental total.
